The Tri-Valley All-Stars were out in full force tonight at the annual Dresden Homecoming Parade! We love this community!

While we have your attention, here’s a public service announcement: the Tri-Valley Youth Baseball League is not liable for any parade spectator injuries sustained by high velocity candy along the parade route. These Scotties throw straight gas! Seriously, sorry if you got pelted by a tootsie roll!

We are incredibly grateful to IBEW Local Union 1105 for providing the full funding needed to purchase our new Sand Star Infield Groomer. This equipment will allow us to prepare and maintain our fields at a level our players, families, and community deserve. You’ll see the Sand Star in action next weekend at the Scottie Slam All-Star Tournament!

We also want to thank Matt Fellows from Baker Vehicle Systems for helping make this purchase possible and for working with us throughout the process.

This Sand Star is the first step in a number of massive improvements coming to Kenny Wolford Community Park over the next several months. We are excited about what lies ahead and deeply thankful for the generosity and investment of IBEW 1105 in our league and community.

After last night’s 12u quarter and semi-final action, the Pickrell Welding, LLC Punishers (Wells) and The Tea Room Beauty Barbarians (Dodson) are each headed to the Gold and Silver Bracket Championships this Friday night! More tournament action tomorrow with a few Tri-Valley teams competing for spots in the finals! Lots of great baseball ahead!

A $450,000 donation from the IBEW will improve the facilities, safety and playing conditions for young athletes at Frew and Kenny Wolford parks.
