Leo worked on quick movements through the poles and passing technique on Sunday!! He’s been crushing it all summer with us and it really shows!!

Leo did technical work for the first half of training this morning where he is starting to master inside-outside touches and then we moved on to defensive techniques when to create separation, how to stay side on and go into tackles with a strong foot to win the ball after being patient!

Phoenix and Mia had a blast in their 2-1!! We worked on through balls, opening up into new space and asking for the pass back and signaling to their teammate which space to go into after they take their space!

Leo started mastering the skill of creating separation when defending and cutting off angles to protect the goal. His joy for playing has really been showing in trainings and his determination to learn!

Sunday morning work with Meekah where she got incredibly more comfortable winning the ball out of the air with her chest, thighs and feet and placing the passes out high and wide!! Her confidence is growing and she doesn’t mind putting in the work!

Winter had her first training Friday and it showed its wonders in our game yesterday! Confidence does wonders and teaching that mistakes mean nothing what matters is what happens after! This girls fearlessness is incredible!

Leo learned how to work on getting his long balls up off the ground, continued working on settling the ball with our body and making quick decisions and got sent home with some technical homework!
