Did you know that only 8% of people actually accomplish their New Year’s Goal? Goal setting versus S.M.A.R.T goal setting is the DIFFERENCE between achieving your new year’s goals and failing them.

An example of a goal that isn’t S.M.A.R.T: I want to be in better shape.

An example of a goal that is S.M.A.R.T: I am going to lose 15 pounds of fat and gain 5 pounds of lean muscle mass by December 31st, 2024.

S.M.A.R.T goals should be well-defined statements that are easy to track, challenging (but not impossible) to complete, and attached to an end date.

DON’T give yourself a reason to fail. Set yourself up for success and get to work!
