Important update for Yeti 3000X owners.

Goal Zero, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily recalling the Yeti 3000X Portable Power Station. The Power Stations may overheat, posing a risk of serious burn injury and fire hazard. No injuries have been reported as a result of this fault.

Consumers should immediately stop using the power stations and install the YETI 3000X firmware update in the app or contact Goal Zero if support is needed to install a free repair in the form of a firmware update.

The firmware update is the recall remedy and does not require returning the product to the original place of purchase - whether this be online or a retail location.

The Yeti 3000X Portable Power Station was sold at Costco.com, REI, Backcountry.com and other stores nationwide, and online at goalzero.com from May 2020 through August 2025. . If you own one of these products, follow the below remedy and repair process:

If you are not currently using the Goal Zero app, download it for free from the Apple or Google Play store.

Install the firmware update by tapping the banner in your app or by going to Settings>Firmware Update.

Reach out to the Goal Zero Customer Support team by phone at [1-888-794-6250](tel:18887946250). Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Mountain Time (MST). You may also submit a support ticket through our Help Center.
