Annnd we’re back! It’s been a busy couple weeks. With that being said we do have some updates! First, fresh bait came in today, no minnows due to the heat.
Secondly, the new Red White and Blue Wisey worms are in!
Also an update for everyone one who wanted to follow “Lloyd’s pick” yes, I did fish a little last week and the week prior. Green pumpkin, lemonade, and purple Wisey worms killed the fish. I did not use a weight. On cloudy days in clear water purple was the best. Casted into “deeper” water, I would let it sink then twitch it aggressively 2 to 3 times. Just like a jerk bait. Then pause. Lemonade was good in dirty or stained water in front of w**d lines. Also twitched. Green pumpkin worked on all 3 regardless of the situation. Surprisingly I used it most as a topwater bait. Casted into duck w**d, over mats, across Lilly pads, and even snaked it over logs. They are not w**dless baits however, keeping your rod tip up with a fast popping motion and a slow retrieve it looked and acted just like a snake. This proved to be the best out of all 3 techniques. This week I’ve got Marr King baits tied on so we will see what happens!
