Did you know that when you’re thirsty it’s too late, you are already dehydrated. 💧😰

Chugging water to make up for the thirst will not do the trick. You need to be proactive and drink steady amounts throughout the day starting with the first thing you do in the morning. 16 ounces before your coffee people! Your water needs electrolytes or a high quality salt. Be very choosey when picking a hydration pack to ensure low sugar and good ingredients.

Why salt? Osmosis is when sodium acts as a magnet that pulls and holds water in your cell membranes. Your organs NEED proper hydration to function properly. Most importantly, your brain, as many new studies link dehydration and Alzheimer’s and dementia later in life

Did you also know that eating clean whole foods helps to hydrate your body naturally. Foods like watermelon, cucumbers, celery , broccoli, strawberries, and tomatoes are packed full of fluids.

You can tell if you are dehydrated by the color of your urine, headache, lethargic, brain fog, dry sticky mouth, and cramps.

📣Help us welcome the newest trainer to Nex Level Fitness, Bella Aulisio.

Bella graduated from Westchester University with an Exercise Science, Exercise Specialist major. Bella‘s love for exercise and fitness comes from playing field hockey and being a collegiate athlete. She even took classes here to stay in shape.

“I love seeing members come in for classes to better themselves and reach their goals. I’m looking forward to coaching classes, training sports teams, and personally training athletes.”

We’re fortunate and looking forward to Bella living her passion right here at Nex Level Fitness❣️
