The CBAA Executive Board is seeking qualified board members to help maintain and grow our successful volunteer-led organization. We are looking to fill positions as several of our current members' children are aging out of our sports programs.
Our lacrosse, basketball, and soccer programs provide quality intramural and travel sports opportunities for boys and girls in the Central Bucks region. We are proud to operate exceptional facilities, including the Herbst fields and courts on Route 413 in Plumsteadville and the Skyrun indoor training center at the Doylestown Airport Industrial Complex. Our annual lacrosse and soccer tournaments attract competition from across the tri-state area each spring, enhancing our local community.
We invite dedicated parents to assist in maintaining our excellent programs. Help is needed in areas such as fundraising, financial management, marketing, property maintenance, event planning, and scheduling. Our President and Vice President roles will be opening as well. We want to be sure that any new members have ample onboarding time with our current members. The organization is in a great position and a lot of planning has been put into it over the years.
As a volunteer-led organization, we take pride in the progress made since the disruptions caused by COVID-19. Since then, CBAA has achieved a strong and stable financial position, and we are looking for individuals with expertise in accounting, finance, construction management, sourcing, and legal matters as we embark on the next phase of growth. This phase will include enhancements to our facilities, such as turf fields and indoor practice options.
