Drumroll, please!! Our little champ has made his grand entrance into the world! Meet Oliver Quinn Avery, born on 7-20-23, weighing a solid 8lbs 10oz and stretching out to 21.5 inches long!
After a short but eventful stay in the NICU, we finally got the green light to bring Ollie home on Sunday, which also happened to be my birthday! Talk about the most incredible birthday gift a parent could ask for!!
I have to admit, witnessing childbirth has given me a whole new appreciation for the power of motherhood. Heather, you are an absolute superstar!! And as for our little Ollie, well, he's already proven to be quite the eating and pooping machine. Watch out, world!
We couldn't have navigated those anxious moments in the NICU without the phenomenal nurses at Bayfront Baby Place and All Children's NICU. Their care and compassion were truly remarkable, making us feel like we were part of a big, supportive family!
Here's to the beautiful and awe-inspiring journey of parenthood! We can't wait to discover all the joy and excitement Ollie will bring into our lives. Hold on tight, everyone - this is just the beginning of our wonderful adventure!
