☀️Trainer Spotlight! Jenn Romm✨💚
After spending over 20 years in the food and beverage industry, Jenn made a career change and became a personal trainer in 2018. As someone who has always been passionate about fitness, the transition felt natural and organic.

Jenn loves helping people unlock and achieve their true potential in a safe and supportive environment. She incorporates a mix of cardio, strength and conditioning, and flexibility training to create individualized programs that meet each client’s unique needs.

Her goal is to give clients the tools and knowledge they need to experience long-term success—whether that’s losing weight, building muscle, or simply creating a healthier lifestyle. Jenn believes fitness should be sustainable, enjoyable, and empowering.

When she’s not in the gym, Jenn loves being outdoors hiking or going for a bike ride. And with her background in the food and beverage industry, she’s always excited to discover new places to try.

Meet Billy — one of our trainers here at NU Fitness.

“I spent most of my life in Chicago, moving to Oakland in 2022 with my partner and our two dogs.

When I’m not coaching, you can find me on a forest trail, biking around the city, or lounging at the beach.

I discovered my passion for movement very young. I didn’t find belonging in team sports and felt anxious performing in front of others, but I knew movement mattered. Exercising on my own helped me experience both mental and physical benefits — something I’ve maintained for nearly 20 years.

I started coaching to help others identify and sustain health-promoting behaviors.

Coaching Style:
I help people of all bodies and backgrounds build a sustainable and intuitive relationship with movement to improve physical and mental health. My passion is corrective exercise — restoring mobility and muscular balance for those who feel like they’re “not moving like they used to.”

I believe all movement, nourishment, and accountability should come from a place of self-love — not punishment or obligation.”
