Have you ever had a really, REALLY rough start to your week? The kind where you thought you did everything right, and apparently, nope, nothing actually panned out?šš»āāļø
Yeah.
I had not had one this rough in a long time. Iād been saying the *right* mantras to myself, posting the *right* content for my biz, taking the *right* time for me and my family.
Suddenly I couldnāt turn off the downward spiral of thoughts, it was 3 AM, and WTF, Coco, you freakin teach people how to slumber!
Oh. Um.
Next day, I took my own coaching to heart, and did a brave thing. Instead of focusing out on nailing goals, I refocused in.
And it was NOT with āself care BS.ā Hey, I love a pretty pedicure as much as the next person, but Iām missing a toenail at the moment, so⦠thereās that.
I refocused on ācaring enoughā instead. Caring enough about what a colleague recently said was my actual superpower ~ nurturing a community of real relationships, and making people feel genuinely glad to be part of something.
I did only that for the day. Pampered myself with laughs during classes. And it took serious guts to NOT spend the rest of the day promoting our upcoming workshop.
Instead I did the thing that, for me, took much more bravery. I created the playlist and movement sequences for the people who were already signed up. And did that in a state of grace, gratitude, and joy.
If no one else signs up, so be it. And if the workshop fills, also so be it. Thatās no longer my burden.
Iām the joy for my people, and Iām leading them by BEING the bravery.
Do you need to ācare enoughā to be the bravery in your business, career, life? What would that brave step be today?
Feel free to share or tag someone you know who really needs to read this today (maybe theyāll thank you for a restful night)
OXOX Coco
