I’m exactly 8 weeks post-surgery today. This is the weapon- looking dagger thing that was put in me! I think it needs a name. Got a pretty gnarly scar out of this too.
But overall, felling good and moving pretty gods at this point. Very little pain and minimal soreness. I can’t wait to get back to moving freely again!

Delayed post but I have to share. Proud Liquid mom here! Jen worked hard last weekend and completed her Liquid Motion 1.0 Certification training. I’m so proud of her and all she overcame. She showed strength, knowledge, sensuality and an eagerness to learn more. I can’t wait to watch her grow in her own personal movement journey! 💦🧡

Hip Update…
👍Good news- I have a diagnosis and know what the problems (yes, multiple) are.
🫤Bad news- full labral tear with surrounding partial tears
😒Worse news- the arthritis discovered is worse than the multiple tears because its not normal
😕Worser news- can’t have surgery to repair the tears because of the arthitis and I need a full hip replacement
☹️Worst news- can’t have hip replacement surgery because I’m not 50 yet.

I see a scoot-scoot as my near future.

💙 I had a different take on competition this past weekend. It was both exciting and stressful! I missed being able to be back stage with my students before they took the stage, but I very much welcomed this new opportunity. (but I was not prepared to have my picture taken at 9am! thanks Jax 😵‍💫 lol!)
And to top off my weekend, a fellow judge made me cry with the sweet gesture of a handmade bracelet for me when she shared a memory from years ago. Thank you you completely made my weekend.
