Oh Sonshine 🥺🥺🥺 I am so proud to be your mom! As of today this is the end of a journey we started 4 years ago! Another milestone accomplished despite the obstacles and circumstances. We my baby have been through it all together lol my little PIC. The growth I have seen in you in all these years I couldn’t be anymore proud of the young man you have become and the man you will continue to become… this is not the end of the road for us but this is where momma steps aside and allows you to lead but as I have always said to you

“As your mother I promise you that I will always be in one of three places: In front of you to cheer you on, behind you to have your back, or next to you so you are never alone”

Oooooh myyyyy where to begin my son son my son son….. Today is a huge milestone day my son is officially an adult!!!! Did you hear me!!!!! My baby is 18!!!!! I was not prepared for this moment but everything from the day you were placed in my arms on 3/17/2005 at 6:20 pm lead to this moment. Son momma is so proud of the young man you have become and I’m excited to watch you mold into the future man you will be… I couldn’t of asked for a better son than you are baby. You are so courageous, loving, motivated, silly and loyal! You have always been moms inspiration to make it through being you are my first born you have been through my ups and my downs with me but just know you were and will continue to be mommas reason! Although you are not the little curly headed light skin baby boy anymore you will always be mommas baby! And now you will start a whole new journey where momma is no longer the leader but the spectator but don’t get twisted I’ll always be your right hand man you call I’m coming actions first ask questions later lol but always remember my Sonshine as your mother I promise you that I will always be in one of 3 places; in front of you to cheer you on, behind you to have your back and right next to you so you are never alone! 🙏🏽💙🙏🏽💙. 2023 Brad jones tournament… this is the last time my Sonshine will compete in this tournament being a 2 time placer both his freshman and sophomore year he placed 5th and his last year going out with a bang placing 2nd 🥈… even though we didn’t take the tournament just know that I am beyond proud of you…. Every year for the last four years momma has watched you evolve in this sport that you love so much. You have taken on every challenge presented to you even wrestling 11 pounds under weight at 113 your junior year. The love and dedication you have shown these last 4 years is beyond amazing and that is what makes you #1 in mommas book. You are forever my champ they can’t teach nor coach the amazing all around athlete that you are son… my son told me last night I am his biggest inspiration but what he doesn’t know is that he is mine as well and always has been since the day he was born 💙💙🙏🏽🙏🏽 this one down next up sectionals 🐺💙🙏🏽💪🏽🙏🏽💙🫶🏽🐺💙🙏🏽💪🏽
