Our first movie of the summer season is coming on Friday, June 12 beginning at dusk. New this year - themed activities from 7:45 - 8:30 pm. Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy some free popcorn.

From May 5th through June 30th, East Brandywine Parks & Recreation is hosting a special donation campaign in support of our All-Abilities Inclusive Playground at Community Park—in honor of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, every dollar donated will be matched—up to $20,000.

That means:
• Every $50 becomes $100
• Every $1,000 becomes $2,000

Make a donation in honor or memory of a mother, father, grandparent, or someone special in your life. As a token of appreciation, all donors will receive a special acknowledgment card to share with their loved one, letting them know a gift was made in their honor to support this meaningful project.

Your contribution will help the Township meet required grant matching funds, bringing us one step closer to creating an all-inclusive space where children of all abilities can play, learn, and grow together.

In keeping with the celebration of America 250, we will be installing 1,776 American Flags at the Community Park on Tuesday, May 19 beginning at 6:00 pm. Join us for this annual tradition as we remember all that gave their lives so we can celebrate 250 years of living our lives in freedom. Bring a portable drill with a long bit or a long handled screwdriver to assist with the installation. All ages are welcome.
