I have decided to do away with the industry standard of running “Nutrition Challenges” where you’re given a list of boring foods to eat for 30-60 days or longer and although the promise is that you’ll lose “weight” - usually by the time you’re a couple of weeks in, you feel deprived of your favorite foods and you’re looking forward to the “Challenge” ending so you can enjoy your life again.
What’s the point of doing something if it’s only going to provide a short term result?
The truth is that there is a difference between losing “weight” and losing fat.
“When you lose weight, you will probably also lose muscle mass.
Being thin doesn't necessarily mean you have a low body fat percentage. Think about that for a second.
When we only focus on losing weight, we can still end up with a body that has no muscle definition. That’s definitely not ideal.
The key is to have a healthy ratio of fat to muscle - and THAT’S where I come in.
I’m going to teach you to eat using a method that helped me to lose 85 lbs and totally reshape my body. I don’t completely restrict any foods but I also know how much is too much. I don’t have to guess at what “moderation” means because I know EXACTLY how certain foods can or cannot fit into my day.
I’ve learned how to make healthier versions of some of my favorites and this method of eating has proven to be sustainable for me for 7+ years.
It doesn’t matter how much weight you have to lose. It could be 100 lbs or 10 lbs. You are absolutely able to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. Don’t allow anyone to tell you anything different.
If you’re looking to reshape your body then let’s get to work.
I’m only able to take on 25 people because of the 1:1 time I’ll spend with you.
I’m calling this session
“MACROS 101” and in order to participate you must:
1. Be ready to abandon restrictive diets and be willing to try a new approach.
2. Be willing to LEARN about macronutrients and the importance of each as it relates to your overall diet. Even if you’re experienced with macro counting, there’s always more to learn about this method.
3. Be willing to LEARN how to properly log your food using the MyFitnessPal app.
4. Be serious about making a change.
If you’re looking for extreme restriction or a quick fix, this group is not for you.
Many of my current clients have seen significant progress using these tools and if you are new to the process, I will pair you up with a “Macros Mentor” who will help keep you on track through the duration of our time together.
The next group will run from
2/26 - 3/25. You can participate virtually or in person.
If you want to learn more, send me a message and I’ll answer whatever questions you have.
