I miss what Little League used to be about. Community, Family, kids playing with their peers. Sadly, this no longer seems to be the case. Little League seems to cater to Travel Ball players now. Travel ball players are just a small percentage of the Little League population. An opportunity for these travel ball families to take advantage of Little League's tournaments. Even more sad, is some players don't show up in Little League until the age of 11 or 12. They spent the first years in travel ball and show up for the 11 and 12 year old tournaments. One league, Orange Crest Little League in Riverside, won't even schedule Major division games on the weekend. Why? Because it will interfere with Travel Ball weekend tournaments. SMH
