Race One Recap!
🌧️What a race-the weather took a turn but it didn’t keep our runners off the course! I’m always amazed at the dedication of our athletes. Truly inspirational. I am so proud of all of them!
💙Parents-you did it!! You got your runner to the start and they finished! I understand the journey to any competition is emotional in some way. Happy, excited, nervous, or scared…it’s all normal! I can promise you-each week that passes our athletes get more comfortable.
💚The volunteer dream team is back! We have a lot of returning volunteers and I couldn’t be more grateful. They all give so much heart to this series-thanks guys!!
⚽️Soccer Shots of DuPage County sent us our favorite Coach Sharis!!! She leads our warm up with with enthusiasm and always sheers for you if you make a goal at their vendor table area! Thank you for keeping our 1/2 milers safe at the start too. She’s both a sponsor and a volunteer! 🫶
☀️Shine Pediatric Dentistry came today to cheer us on and brought their vendor table with a prize wheel! So so fun! Thanks for keeping us smiling!!
