Table rock recap!

After all 5 teams had strong practices, the fish were moving by the day and made it challenging to lock in a single pattern throughout practice making each day different but a great event for the roadrunners as we qualified our 2nd team for the 2027 Major League Fishing College National Championship this week! The results were:

and with all largemouth and smallmouth weighing 16-1 finishing 17th out of a 210 boat field!

Peyton Attinger and weighed 13-1 with all largemouth finishing 94th

and finished 134th weighing a trifecta (largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass) for 12-1

and weighing 11-8 of another trifecta limit finishing 150th

Ethan Furlan and .wolf.fishing weighed 4 fish for 9-3 finishing 174th

A great tournament for the roadrunners and now a few weeks off before the next event at the end of the month on kerr reservoir in Oklahoma.

Sam Rayburn Recap

After back to back tournaments across the south, the team rolled into Sam Rayburn hopeful for some of those big Texas bites everyone hopes for. Sadly, with weather and wind, it made it difficult to find the big ones this week. The 4 teams finished in:

and .facundo24 in 55th with a 2 day total of 32 pounds 3 ounces after weighing 16-10 the first day

Ethan Furlan and in 141st with a 2 day total of 24-14

and in 164th with 23-7

and Peyton Attinger in 227th with 15-4

The roadrunners have a few weeks off before the ACA Hartwell Slam in Anderson, SC at the end of March!

Lake Seminole recap:

We are headed back to the 2027 college national championship and the college heavy hitters in the fall! Also headed home with a little hardware, the team had a great finish overall with a 211 boat field.

and Bodie Bryans lead the team with a 9th place finish weighing in 22-10 with a 8-5 slob for big fish, the second biggest weighed in today! This qualifies Joey and Bodie for next springs national championship as well as being 1 of 18 teams throughout the entire year for the College Heavy hitters on Douglas Lake in eastern TN this fall!
furlan05 and .wolf.fishing had a great finish as well with 17 pounds 14 ounces finishing 46th

and .facundo24 weighed in a great bag of 16 pounds 5 ounces to finish 70th place

and weighed 15 pounds 5 ounces to finish 86th place

Overall, a very strong finish by the Roadrunner Teams to all be in the top 100 of a strong 211 boat field. Great School of the year Points and momentum leading in to the rest of the season. Qualifying for the Heavy hitters event in October is also a great feat and will showcase how Michigan Anglers can adapt to fishing down south as well!

Practice starts Sunday for the next tournament in Texas on Sam Rayburn, hoping to keep the good finishes streak alive.

Talk about a Rally bag for the boys this week!

From 98th all the way to 45 giving us a top 50 finish in a 162 boat field.The boys overcame adversity and had a solid finish.

On the road next week to Seminole hoping to keep the train rolling.

Tomorrow starts day 1 of the 2026 College National Championship, good luck to Jack Gano and Ethan Furlan for representing SMC this week on lake Murray, SC!

The team finally made it home yesterday after waiting Winter Storm Fern out and had a great end to the first tournament of 2026!
facundo24 and brought in another good limit day 2 to finish 46th out of 222 boats!

and brought in a limit day 2 of 15 pounds 5 ounces to jump up to finish 52nd as well!

Peyton Attinger and brought in 5 day 2 to finish 80th as well!
wolf.fishing and Ethan Furlan finished 92nd and and finished 96th.

Having all 5 teams finish top 100 is a great achievement for the team, onto the next event in just 2 weeks where we will have 1 boat in the Major League Fishing College National Championship at Lake Murray, SC!

As we get ready for day 2 takeoff, the roadrunners are in striking distance of a great first tournament of 2026!
facundo24 and lead the way in 38th place after day 1 with 13-11! Followed by .wolf.fishing and Ethan Furlan are in 95th (9-11),Peyton and Connor in 106th (8-15), and in 114th with 8-4 and and in 168th!

It’s Florida during a warm front, anything can happen today!
