Summer nights like this are what it’s all about ☀️🎡 Huge thank you to Jenny and her family as well as Helen for volunteering at the St. Joseph's carnival and giving their time and energy to the community.

It’s so special to see families coming together in the summer months to give back and be part of something that brings people together. From helping out throughout the night to bringing such a positive spirit, they made the evening even more meaningful for everyone there.

Our Team York Swimming athletes had an outstanding weekend at the 2026 Special Olympics Pennsylvania Summer Games!

From the moment they stepped onto the pool deck, our athletes showed confidence, determination, and a commitment to giving their very best. Whether they were racing for a medal, achieving a personal best, or competing at Summer Games for the first time, every swimmer represented Team York with pride.

Swimming is a sport that requires dedication, perseverance, and countless hours of practice, and that hard work was on full display all weekend long. We loved watching our athletes cheer each other on, celebrate successes, and enjoy every moment of the Summer Games experience.

Beyond the races and medal ceremonies, our swimmers created lasting memories, built friendships, and experienced the excitement that makes Special Olympics so special.

Congratulations to all of our swimmers on an incredible weekend! We are so proud of your accomplishments, your sportsmanship, and the way you represented Team York.

🏀💙 What a weekend for Team York Basketball at the 2026 Special Olympics Pennsylvania Summer Games! 💙🏀

From the opening tip-off to the final buzzer, our athletes left everything on the court. They competed with heart, determination, and incredible teamwork, representing Team York with pride every step of the way.

Our basketball teams faced tough competition throughout the weekend, but they never backed down. They supported one another, celebrated each other's successes, and showed what it truly means to be part of a team. The growth we saw throughout the season was on full display at Penn State.

We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of all of our basketball athletes, including our teams that brought home gold and silver. Our 5v5 Division 1 team that battled all the way to the championship game and earned a silver medal after an unforgettable overtime battle.

While medals are exciting, the memories made, friendships strengthened, and confidence gained are what make Summer Games so special. The smiles, hugs, celebrations, and moments shared throughout the weekend remind us why we love what we do.

Congratulations to all of our athletes, coaches, families, and supporters for an amazing Summer Games. Thank you for making Team York proud!

Our Team York Tennis athletes had an incredible time at the 2026 Special Olympics Pennsylvania Summer Games at Penn State!

Throughout the weekend, our athletes demonstrated resilience, determination, and a love for the game. They stepped onto the court ready to compete, challenge themselves, and give their very best effort. The results were plenty of great matches, well-earned medals, and memories that will last long after the final point was played.

One of the best parts of Summer Games is watching our athletes grow in confidence while building friendships and sharing experiences with teammates from across the state. Whether they were competing, celebrating at medal ceremonies, or simply enjoying time together, our athletes embraced every moment.

We couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments and the way they represented Team York. Thank you to our coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters who helped make this weekend so special.

From stepping onto the track and into the field events, to standing proudly on the medal podium, our athletes gave their all and represented Team York with determination, sportsmanship, and heart.

This weekend was about so much more than medals. It was about setting personal bests, overcoming challenges, making memories with teammates, celebrating accomplishments, and experiencing the excitement of Summer Games. The smiles, laughter, friendships, and unforgettable moments shared throughout the weekend are what make Special Olympics so special.

We are incredibly proud of every athlete who competed. Your hard work, dedication, and positive attitudes shined all weekend long. Whether you brought home a medal, achieved a personal goal, or simply gave your best effort, you are champions in our eyes.

Because of their support, our athletes, coaches, and volunteers were able to enjoy a special experience together during Summer Games. For many of our athletes, this was their very first visit to the famous Penn State Creamery, making it a memory they will cherish for years to come.
