Folks, I don’t use Facebook anymore, however, a while back I informed everyone that I’d be hosting another Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit class on Saturday, October 26th.
We can accommodate 20 people per class and we have only 3 slots remaining. I don’t offer this class regularly anymore.
Anyone interested must prepay to lock in their slot.
The fee to attend is $75.00 per person
I can send a Cash App or Venmo Link if you are planning to attend.

If using PayPal, a 3.49% fee is added and I’ll send you a payment link.

If you have any questions, you’ll need to send a text message to me, since I don’t read, respond or even remain on Facebook after I post.
Cash app, Venmo or PayPal is the only option to reserve your seat.

And to all of those who have stated that you don’t need a permit to carry a handgun in the state of Tennessee, you’re 100% correct, however, as a former law enforcement officer, I’ll say this, if you get into a vehicle accident, one of the first things you’re required to provide at the scene is your driver’s license, proof of insurance and vehicle registration.
If you’re involved in a self-defense shooting, having a permit, knowing what and what not to say is vital! In December of 2021, I testified in a self defense shooting as an expert witness in East Tennessee. Attending my class will provide you with way more information than you realize. Our Tennessee approved lecture and curriculum provides you with the best information on the laws associated with the use of force, but it’s my open question and answer portion that explores all aspects of self defense, civil, criminal and financial responsibilities that are relevant.

Folks, once again, for a variety of reasons, I no longer use Facebook, I don’t use the Facebook messenger app, nor do I read any comments or respond to questions on the platform.
I am merely using Facebook to advertise that I’ll be hosting another Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Class.
I’ve cut back drastically on the classes offered due to my limited availability.
Here are the details:
So far, several people have contacted me and they are on the list. My school is approved to host a maximum of 20 students. So far, I have 12 people planning on attending.

On Saturday, October 26th, beginning at 9 am, we will be hosting the Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit course.
Space is limited for this class.

The Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry permit course consists of two segments, a classroom lecture with PowerPoint, video scenarios, and a Q&A session. A 50-question written test follows. The second portion of the course is a range/safety course on how to safely operate your handgun. Any caliber is welcome, and both semi-automatic pistols and revolvers are welcome.
This is a basic handgun safety course required by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security for applicants to obtain the Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit.
The permit is recognized in 36 states across the nation.
Course Topics include:
Carry Permit application and eligibility requirements
Legal liabilities of carrying, possessing, and using a handgun
Requirements for transporting a handgun
Requirements for self-defense and the use of deadly force in Tennessee.
Basic skills and knowledge necessary for owning, maintaining, and shooting a handgun - SAFELY.

Folks, this is a follow-up to the upcoming Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit class that is this coming Saturday, January, 27th starting at 9 am.

Over the past few weeks, per the instructions that I posted here on Facebook and Instagram, many individuals contacted me as requested to be added to the list of attendees.

At the moment, we have a total of 15 individuals that are on the list, and we are approved by the Tennessee Department of Safety to teach a maximum of 20 students per class.
If nothing has changed, we have only 5 remaining seats left.

One important factor is that each attendee must go online to the TN Department of Safety website and apply for an application number from their automated system.

scroll down to Handgun Carry Permit, and click on Apply for Permit tab.
It will show you the various costs, types of permits, and list of fees. The Fee to the State of Tennessee is only due when you have completed the actual class.
It will take you approximately 10 minutes to answer all the questions and then the automated system will generate a unique Application Number that we need to input the morning of the class.

As I stated in the previous post, I am no longer using a website for individuals to register for the class, nor any online payment processing service.

You will need $65 in cash or the form of a check on the morning of class.
If you want to be added to our class roster, simply send a text to (931) 205-4135 and list the first and last name of each student attending. Please don't comment or ask questions via Facebook because I don't use the platform at all.

Lastly, what do you need for the class?
A safe and serviceable handgun in working order.
50 Rounds of Ammunition
We provide eye protection and disposable earplugs if you need them.
Dress appropriately for the weather, our range is outdoors and subject to the elements.
If you have a holster and belt, we encourage you to bring it.

Saturday, January 27th, beginning at 9 am, we will be hosting the Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit course. Since April of 2022, Hilltop Fi****ms Training Center of Dover, TN has drastically cut back on the number of classes offered to the public.
