Excited to make it public! Congratulations on the Class of 2026! 🙌

The Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame has officially announced its Class of 2026! 🏆

This marks the third induction class, honoring outstanding athletes, teams, contributors, and organizations that have made a lasting impact on sports across Tuscarawas County.

The induction ceremony will be held Saturday, June 20, at Buckeye Career Center. From legendary individual athletes to historic teams and community supporters, the Class of 2026 represents excellence across generations.

Thank you BIG Z Sports for attending the 2nd annual girls basketball preview last night at the Tuscarawas Senior Center.

Tickets on sale for boys basketball preview being held next Monday, November 10 at the senior center.

Print tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Dover Public Library or online at www.eventbrite.com. Tables of eight can be reserved at a cost of $250.

Tuscarawas County High School Basketball Preview Nights will be held at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, located at 425 Prospect Street in Dover. The Girls Preview Night will be on Monday, November 3 and the Boys Preview Night will be on Monday, November 10.

Trustee representing the Strasburg School District--Terry Straub

Terry is a graduate of Strasburg High School, class of 1967. He Graduated from University of Akron in 1974 with a BS in Mechanical engineering.

Terry is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio. He is currently employed as a Sr. Project Engineer at Beech Design and Manufacturing in New Philadelphia. He was previously employed as a project engineer for Joy/Howden Buffalo for 37 year.

Terry was a varsity official in football and basketball. Terry is married to Vicky and has a daughter, Katie (Justin). He is proud grandpa as well to Ryan and Andie.
