Although camp concluded just over a week ago, we’re still reflecting on what an incredible week it was! Our campers, counselors, and volunteers made this year truly special. From exciting adventures and new experiences to laughter, friendships, and plenty of memories, it was a week we won’t soon forget.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to all of our amazing volunteers, counselors, and the many Ladies Auxiliaries from our local fire departments who volunteered their time to prepare and cook meals for our campers. Your support and generosity help make Burn Camp possible!

Most importantly, thank you to our campers for bringing so much energy, enthusiasm, and joy to camp. We are already looking forward to seeing you again next summer!

That’s a wrap for the 2026 Delaware Burn Camp!

What an incredible week it has been! Our campers packed the week with fun, adventure, and memories that will last a lifetime.

From swimming, fishing, and crabbing to waterparks, go-kart racing, rocket launching, and laser tag—there was never a dull moment! We also had some very special furry visitors, including horses and dogs, who made the week even more memorable.

A HUGE thank you to all of our volunteers, supporters, families, and everyone who helped make this week possible. Most importantly, thank you to our amazing campers for making 2026 one to remember!

Day 4 at Delaware Burn Camp was a day full of furry friends and adrenaline!

Our day started with some final touches on our Pinewood Derby cars before the big race later today!

We had TWO furry surprises today! First, some very special horses came to visit camp! A huge thank-you to Emily, Michele & Ginger for bringing them out. Campers got to saddle up and take a trot around camp! Then, the Tri-State K-9 Crisis Response Team stopped by with some of the friendliest four-legged visitors around!

The excitement continued as campers designed their own rockets and launched them HIGH into the sky! And if that wasn’t enough adrenaline, campers battled it out in an intense game of laser tag around the campground! Thank you Tactical Laser Tag for your continuous support and partnership with our camp!

We finished our final night with the much-anticipated Pinewood Derby! Campers raced the cars they built for a chance at prizes, bragging rights, and the pride of seeing their creations fly down the track!

Day 3 at Delaware Burn Camp was packed with fun, creativity, and plenty of smiles!

Campers started the morning showing off their artistic skills with some painting and creating their very own tie-dye shirts!

This afternoon, it was time to head out on the dock for some fishing and crabbing. There were plenty of excited campers reeling in fish and catching crabs!

Of course, no camp day would be complete without some pool time!

We wrapped up the day with an epic tug-of-war competition, thanks to volunteers from our local fire departments! Campers battled it out using hoses from the fire trucks—and let’s just say there were LOTS of smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of water!

Day 2 at Delaware Burn Camp!

One of our campers’ favorite days of the week took us off-site for a full day of fun in Rehoboth Beach!

We kicked off the day at Midway Speedway, where campers put their racing skills to the test and battled it out on the track!

Then it was off to Jungle Jim’s Waterpark for an afternoon of swimming, water slides, and plenty of fun! A huge thank you to Mr. Chuck Snyder for his continued support of Delaware Burn Camp and for helping make this unforgettable day at Jungle Jim’s possible!

To wrap up Day 2, campers kicked back and relaxed at Clayton Theater for a showing of Spider-Man: Brand New Day!

Another incredible day filled with memories, laughter, and fun!

Day 1 of the 2026 Delaware Burn Camp is in the books!

Our campers arrived, grabbed a quick lunch, and jumped right into the fun at the pool! Campers learned basic floating & swimming techniques, built confidence in the water, and of course enjoyed some FREE SWIM!

Then came a BIG surprise—each camper received their very own drone! After learning how to safely operate and handle them, they headed outside to put their new skills to the test!

To wrap up an amazing first day, campers got creative and started building their individual wooden race cars for the big Pinewood Derby at the end of the week! There are already some pretty awesome designs taking shape!

What an incredible first day filled with fun, learning, new experiences, and plenty of smiles! And this is just the beginning… we can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

We're Counting Down to Delaware Burn Camp 2026!

We are so excited to welcome our campers to Delaware Burn Camp this summer!

We're also excited to invite our local fire departments to be part of a special evening at camp!

Thursday, August 13th, beginning around 5:30 PM, we're looking for local fire departments to join us for an evening filled with fun, water-themed activities, and unforgettable memories with our campers. It's a great opportunity to connect with these incredible kids and help make Delaware Burn Camp an even more special experience.
