As we wrap up our final practice of this session, it’s hard not to reflect on how much has been accomplished by every wrestler, coach, volunteer, and family who makes the Dover Bandits Wrestling Club so special.

This season has been filled with growth, determination, victories, setbacks, lessons learned, and memories that will last far beyond the wrestling mat. We’ve watched athletes challenge themselves, support one another, and continue to build the Bandit family that we are so proud of.

While tonight marks the end of this session, it is far from the end of our journey. We are excited for what lies ahead as we prepare for our upcoming Summer Session. New opportunities, new goals, and new memories await, and we can’t wait to continue growing together.

To all of our wrestlers: thank you for your hard work, dedication, and heart. To our parents and supporters: thank you for the countless hours, encouragement, and commitment that help make this club successful.

The future is bright for the Dover Bandits, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the mat soon. Summer Session dates and details will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Once a Bandit, always a Bandit. 🧡🤼🤼‍♀️🤼‍♂️

Last night was one of the very first Senior Nights for our Dover Bandits family, and it was filled with so many emotions as we celebrated Silas and his senior year of high school.

What makes this one even more special is that Silas was there from the very beginning. He started with the Dover Bandits when this program first began — one of the original Bandits who helped build the foundation of what this family has become today. Through the years, we’ve watched him grow not only as a wrestler, but as a young man with heart, toughness, dedication, and leadership.

Wrestling is more than wins and losses. It’s early mornings, long practices, tough matches, friendships, life lessons, and memories that last forever. Watching Silas go from one of the first kids in the room to celebrating his senior year was emotional for everyone who has been part of this journey.

Senior Night is a reminder of how fast time goes. One minute they’re little kids stepping onto the mat with big dreams, and the next they’re seniors preparing for the next chapter in life. Last night was filled with pride, gratitude, and a lot of emotion as we reflected on everything Silas has meant to this program.

Silas, thank you for believing in Dover Bandits from the start and for helping shape this team into what it is today. Your hard work, loyalty, and dedication will always be part of this program’s story. No matter where life takes you next, you will always be family.

Once a Bandit, always a Bandit. 🧡🤼

The Dover Bandits Middle School co-ed team did something special this weekend at the NHSCA National Tournament in Virginia Beach, VA. In their very first appearance on the national stage, these young athletes defied all odds and represented Delaware with heart, courage, and determination.

This team came together not just to compete, but to grow as athletes, teammates, and a family. Boys and girls stood side by side, battling through tough competition, emotional moments, and the pressures of wrestling against some of the best in the country. Through it all, they never stopped supporting one another.

For many of these wrestlers, this was more than just a tournament — it was an experience that built confidence, unity, and memories that will last a lifetime. Every match, every cheer from the sidelines, and every moment on the mat showed the strength of the Dover Bandits wrestling family.

We could not be more proud of this group for stepping outside their comfort zone and proving that hard work, belief, and teamwork can overcome any obstacle. The future of Delaware wrestling is bright, and this team helped show exactly why.

Thank you to all of the coaches, parents, families, and supporters who helped make this journey possible. Virginia Beach was just the beginning.

This weekend at the NHSCA Tournament in Virginia Beach, VA, our Dover Bandits boys’ high school wrestling team showed what this sport is truly about — unity, brotherhood, and pride in representing our state.

Many of these athletes came together from different schools and backgrounds, but over the course of this journey, they became one team. Through every hard-fought match, emotional moment, victory, and setback, these wrestlers stood beside one another and competed with heart.

Wrestling is more than wins and losses. It’s about building bonds, learning resilience, and representing something bigger than yourself. These young men carried Delaware with pride and showed incredible toughness both on and off the mat.

No matter the outcome, we are proud of every athlete who stepped onto the mat this weekend and battled for their teammates, their families, and our wrestling community. The emotions were high, but so was the love and respect shared among this team.

Thank you to the coaches, families, and supporters who continue to help these athletes grow. Delaware wrestling continues to rise because of moments like these.

This weekend in Virginia Beach, the Lady Bandits step onto the mat at the NHSCA National Duals with more than medals and wins on their minds. They wrestle for the love of this sport, for the growth of women’s wrestling, for every challenge they’ve overcome, and most importantly — for our forever Lady Bandit, Joline. ❤️🤼‍♀️

Every whistle, every takedown, every hard-fought match carries a piece of her spirit with us. Joline’s strength, heart, and love for her teammates continue to inspire this team every single day. Though she may no longer physically stand beside us, she will always be in our corner, in our hearts, and on that mat with these girls.

Women’s wrestling continues to grow because of athletes willing to fight with passion, courage, and pride — and these Lady Bandits embody exactly that. This weekend is about sisterhood, resilience, and honoring the bond that wrestling creates forever.

No matter the outcome, we are already proud. Proud of the battles fought, the memories made, and the way these young women continue to lift each other up while carrying Joline’s memory with them.

Wrestle hard. Wrestle together. Wrestle for the love of the sport. Wrestle for Joline.
