There's more special paint effect behind the headtube that sneaks under the top tube, but the light has to hit it just right. Not overdone, not undercooked. Matte clearcoat shows off raw carbon fiber with stronger effect in brighter conditions. Shiny metallic decals bring more spice to table.

Lad Lake and Bicycle Doctor are 3 miles apart and connected by the Glacial Drumlin State Trail. For years, Bicycle Doctor has provided ride support for Lad Lake's fundraiser ride, the Lad Lake Kettle Classic - a well-organized ride featuring distances for all on scenic routes that begin & finish at the Dousman campus.

Lad Lake serves many of Wisconsin's most challenged youth, and some of our community's most vulnerable. Despite challenging personal histories, Lad Lake youth move steadily towards lives of health, safety, opportunity, and self-reliance.

Some of the youth have directly contributed to improving our community by landscaping the beds outside our shop along the bike trail.

Our partnership with Lad Lake has grown, and recently we teamed up with a local distributor to provide mountain bikes, storage hooks, pumps, tools, and a repair stand for Lad Lake to have full time as their own. This creates a sustainable way for Lad Lake to offer the life improving benefits of mountain biking to the youth as a tool for healing and empowerment.

We encourage you to join us this year to make the Lad Lake Kettle Classic ride on Saturday, June 20th their most successful to date!

Due to the rounds of storms our area experienced, the information night at Bicycle Doctor for the Lake Country Composite MTB middle/high school mountain bike team has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 28th at 5:30pm.

Lake Country Composite is a member of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) within the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League.

The Southern Kettles Off Road Riders (SKORR) is the official non-profit organization in our community dedicated to sustainably maintaining and improving the 50+ miles of trails (Emma Carlin, John Muir, and Connector) for all mountain bikers within the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest.

Bicycle Doctor is partnering with SKORR to support their mission. The time & effort to maintain any trail network is endless, but we can help make it much easier for everyone involved by becoming involved ourselves. In addition to funding, we are pledging at least one trail work day this year with SKORR, and we'd love for you to join us!

There are great bikes out there that we can't sell because they're in your garage, so we're launching a way to find new homes for good bikes within our community - taking an active role to connect used bikes with buyers.

Select bikes that qualify for our used bike program will be photographed, posted on our website, and given the best chance at finding a new home. We'll store your bike at our shop for buyers to check out.

What we're looking for:
-Bikes purchased from reputable independent bike shops
-Bikes that are ready to ride without major service required
-Bikes without missing parts
-Bikes without damage

If it's been a while, restore the confidence in your bike with a professional tune! Our techs will provide a full assessment of your bike's condition and recommend suggestions to restore it to the best condition possible for your safety and enjoyment.

Pet a dog, update your helmet, or replace those see-through pair of shorts (you know the ones) as you wait for the estimate. We are currently at 1 week or less for tune-up turnaround.

Ride often? Consider visiting more frequently to have preventative maintence performed to keep everything in-spec and working smoothly!
