Trojan Golf of Coffee County

Our Lady Trojan golf team traveled to Lee County today to compete in the Invitational against 12 teams, ultimately securing 5th place. Consisting of Hannah Powell, Holley Hennesy, and Keirsten Adams, the team demonstrated some impressive abilities. Hannah Powell led the pack with a remarkable 1st place finish among 40 girls, shooting a 74.

A total of 65 two-person teams comprising high school girls from around the state participated in the Red Ryder Invitational held on Jekyll Island. Three teams represented the Lady Trojans: Hannah Powell and Mason McCrary, Ava Rowell and Holley Hennesy, and Miley Vickers and Keirsten Adams, each exhibiting impressive performance. Mason McCrary and Hannah Powell excelled, achieving third place shooting under par with a 68!

The CHS ladies golf team posted a respectable score at the Douglas Golf and Country Club, finishing in the middle of the pack with around 15 teams in attendance. Hannah Powell's score of 77 earned her an All Tournament team selection.

The Coffee High School boys golf team wrapped up their season today at the GHSA AAAAA State Golf Championship at Pine Lakes Golf Course on Jekyll Island. The Trojans finished sixth overall, with Cane Carver finishing eighth in the individual standings. Congratulations on a fantastic season!

At the 5A Golf State Championship held in St. Simons at Retreat golf course, Coffee High Lady Trojan Hannah Powell delivered a solid performance, scoring a 75 in her first round and a 73 in her second round, which earned her a tie for the Low Medalist of the tournament, and following a tiebreaker playoff, she was declared State Runner Up.
