Martial Science Training Academy

Martial Science Training Academy We are a martial arts school that specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu year round and Kali training by inquest.

We offer high quality instruction with affordable costs of tuition and/or private training sessions partnered with the Douglas Rec center. Our head instructor Chris is a black belt under one of the oldest and prestigious Brazilian Jiu Jitsu schools, Gracie Humaita under the tutelage of Professor Mica Cipili and Micheal Huitema. Chris also specializes in Kali training utilizing Kali Centers system.

Chris also specializes in strength training and currently holds 7 Wyoming State records in Powerlifting/Strength sports. Chris has been involved in martial arts for over 20 years and holds a black belt in Kempo Karate under Sensei Travis Elliott. Chris was a career LEO and was the lead DT instructor and supervisor for the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy in his tenure. Chirs has competition experience in various jiu jitsu, mma and karate competitions over his tenure both locally, nationally and internationally, but his true passion lies with self defense and teaching/ mentoring youth.

Great training Tuesday!!

We still have open mats the next couple of weeks for teens/adults at the shop location. Thurs class 7pm and open mat this Sunday 11am.

Don’t forget registrations are open for our fall session Sept.-Oct. starting the day after Labor Day. Get signed up and registered for classes! We will see you on the mats!

Very big congratulations to Jamie Olson this evening on receiving his blue belt. Jamie has dedicated himself to the art and his discipline is second to none. Very proud and very happy to be a part of his Jiu Jitsu journey. Blue belt is the first colored belt, understanding the principles and competencies of the fundamental skills to be competent on the ground. I cannot wait to see what the future holds. Congratulations Jamie!

Training this week Tues and Thurs open mat 7pm and Sunday 11am at the shop location for teens and adults.

If you haven’t brought dues up to speed for this last month of summer please do so. Also a couple announcements there will be a belt promotion for Jamie Olson during normal training time on August 13th at 7pm so we will dress out in gi for this (next Thurs.) please try to come support this if you can.

Friday August 14th Dean Lister will be hosting a seminar in Gillette at Western Plains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu there are limited spots I have reserved 6 spots for those that verbally committed they also have a registration QR code on their page as well spots are limited so if you intend to go please contact myself or register asap.
