We had our first race of the season today. We pulled the 37 and started 15th. The car ran strong and did everything we ask. We started strong, passing a few cars on the 1st lap. About a ⅓ of the way through the 2nd lap, we heard a hiss as we cut rhe front right tire. We were looking for a safe place to pull over and change it but slide through a left turn with our flat right front. We attempted to backup but found that we had lost reverse. At this point we decided to pull forward, change the tire, and call it a race. We are extremely disappointed that our transmission broke. We will be back stronger than ever.
