🏁 FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH IN OUR USF2000 DEBUT
A last-minute decision took us to Portland to take on a huge challenge: our USF2000 debut.
We put the car together in less than three days. We arrived without completing a single test, with a mix of uncertainty, nerves, and anxiety, but also with tremendous motivation and one clear goal: to learn, grow, and show what we are capable of.
The weekend didn’t start the way we had hoped. We weren’t able to complete the test sessions, which meant losing a valuable opportunity to gather data and work on the car’s setup. Even so, a strong qualifying performance gave us a good starting position, and little by little, things began to improve.
In Race 1, after a great start from Karol, we were running in P8 when an electrical issue forced us to retire.
In Race 2, we kept improving lap after lap, learning every step of the way and finishing our first weekend in the category with an excellent P6. 💜🏁
We leave Portland with a tremendous amount of learning, valuable information, and, most importantly, the certainty that this was only the first step. There is still a long road ahead and plenty of work and improvement to come, but we are proud of what we achieved in our debut and excited about what lies ahead.
Now, we shift our focus once again.
In September, we return to Road America, where we will fight to decide the USF Juniors Championship.
We keep working. We keep growing. This is just the beginning. 💜
