Congratulations Kobushi Dojo Doral.
I want to congratulate the outstanding performance that our students did at the 2026 Miami OPEN Karate Tournament.
Our team was integrated by 5 athletes. With great effort and perseverance our students prepared to challenge their skills at this tournament for many long hours.
After their fights and matching contests our Kobushi Doral Team was able to bring 6 medals, 2 were gold, 2 were silver and 2 were bronze medals.
The following are their accomplishments: Luis Esser (Silver in Kata and B***e in Kumite), Marco Fonseca (Gold in Kata and in Kumite), Victoria Guevara (Bronze in Kata), Jose I Ramirez, Victoria Martinez (Bronze in Kata).
Your dedication and perseverance set a high standard for all of us. You continue to inspire every member of our school through your commitment, spirit and outstanding sportsmanship. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing coach sensei Daniela, Marquina your encouragement means the world to, athletes and families alike.
We are grateful for Kyoshi Carlos Quintero Sensei Gonzalo Figueroa and sempai Ornella Martinez for everything you do refereeing and judging so many matches scenes ensuring fair play and smooth competition.

The experience of training and competing improves your self-awareness and esteem. Reaching your dreams is important but the most rewarding experience you obtain in competition will be the steps that you made towards building the character of the champion - and not only the destination itself.
