Gabriel Barrocas made his own history this season. First 2 time District Champion in Bison History. First Bison to get a pin in the State Tournament. Congrats Gabriel on your season.

No one sets out to lose 3 matches and take 6th place at the State Tournament. But for someone that started wrestling as a sophomore, had 3 head coaches in his high school career I'd say it's a great accomplishment. 50+ win senior season. 100+ wins for his career. First Bison to qualify for states. First Bison to win a match at States. First Bison to place at States. Richard "Cuba" Mayol congrats on one hell of a career. .

That was not the start to the State Tournament that we wanted, but there is still more wrestling. Richard Mayol lost 7-5 in overtime and Gabriel Barrocas lost 5-1. Both will have a match in the wrestleback round in a few hours.
