I wanted to share a couple of videos from some recent rounds of golf. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been using the new Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses and they are SWEET. I’ve captured several good shots, and it’s been awesome being able to document my golf game hands-free. Now I just need to figure out how to add that cool little streak that follows the ball flight.

I’ve been playing some pretty solid golf lately, all gearing up for the Police & Fire Games in March 2027 in Australia..... I'm really looking forward to that opportunity.

I’ve been playing a lot at Horse Creek Golf Course, my home course. If anybody wants to get a round in between now and March 30th, I’m off on Thursdays and Fridays. After that, I’ll be off every other weekend since we’re moving to 12-hour shifts at the end of March which means I’ll be squeezing in plenty of rounds on the near future.

If you’re interested in playing, let me know. And if you get the chance to grab a pair of the new Ray-Ban Meta glasses (Gen 2), do it. They’re phenomenal and battery lasts the entire round, you can listen to music, and capture your shots all at the same time.

Y’all have a great day! ⛳️

So many great rounds, new courses, and even better company. Grateful for the time spent with friends and family, making memories one fairway at a time. Here’s to more laughs, long walks, and good shots ahead.

Late post from last Friday.....but what an awesome day at FarmLinks at Pursell Farms in Sylacauga! My brother Diego and I got to play Alabama’s #1 course, and it did not disappoint. Cool weather, quiet course, and great conditions for the time of year made for a perfect first experience. Played well, repped my new shirt, and couldn’t have asked for a better outing. Huge thanks to my brother.....definitely coming back when it gets warmer....

Another late post, but Friday I headed to Prattville, Alabama with three buddies to play Capitol Hill......The Legislator course on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Man, that course was absolutely beautiful.

The wind was no joke that day, but we played pretty solid. Some of the scores that got turned in were downright ridiculous and made no sense at all 😂, but hey, it is what it is. We didn’t do great, but we didn’t do bad either.

Most importantly, we had a great time hitting the ball, hanging out, and enjoying the day. Hope y’all enjoy the pictures!

Had an awesome time playing golf today with my brother and my oldest son. We knocked out 36 holes, and man, it was a blast. Horse Creek Golf Course never disappoints.....there’s not a better course in Alabama for the challenge and the price. The layout is unbeatable, and the course stays well-manicured, well-kept, and in great shape. It’s a tough little track, but always a good time. Had a great day out there today!

POST 1 of 2

A little late, but last Thursday I got to play golf with one of my best friends at a course neither of us had ever played before — Robert Trent Jones Golf Course: The Ridge. Let me tell you… some of the widest fairways I’ve ever stepped on, paired with some of the toughest, most unpredictable greens I’ve ever tried to read. Those greens had multiple tiers, and they were so massive you could probably fit five or six regular greens on just one of them.

It was cart-path-only, so Allan Hanns ended up walking 12,760 steps, which is a workout by itself. But we had an awesome time and actually figured out how to read those monster greens pretty well.

We also had one of the most awkward (but hilarious) celebrations ever on hole #3 when Hans holed out for par. We didn’t really know what to do, so it turned into this jump–belly touch–almost-wiener-touch–hug combo. A little off… but honestly one of the coolest moments of the day.

Then on Friday I got to play with one of my dear friends and former Sergeant, Sergeant Alan Shaddix. Great guy. We had a blast at Horse Creek Golf Course. Just an all-around great time.

Getting to play the game you love with people you care about...sharing laughs, stories, and camaraderie.....that’s the part that always sticks with me. The memories are worth everything, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world.

Hope you enjoy the pictures!
