As I’m looking at these pictures all the way from SD I see so much more than pretty faces riding pretty horses. Zoom in and take a look at the littles on the fence line watching every move, the subtle neck pats reassuring horses with alley jitters, the saddle pads pulled up into the gullets, the sense of trust these horses have for the riders and the riders for their horses, the next generation getting saddle time early in life, the faces out in the crowd who slip into the background and feel forgotten… we notice you and we thank you for your service, real families gathering around trailers having quality family time together, men who know how to be the gentlemen this world needs, and ladies that are tough as heck. I’m pretty dang proud to be associated with these people, my J-Bird fam 💗🪶
I also want to express a huge thank you to Greg Mims and Yancy Trawick for helping us get all our horses down the road safely!
