Junior teams placed the annual West Georgia Middle School championship tournament on West Point Lake.
Huntley Taylor and Chase Ethridge won first place and had big fish.
Heard County also brought home a school award from the tournament.
I’m so very proud of all these boys and their hard work and accomplishments this year!!
Contain to rip them lips and grind boys let’s go get them at the championship in June.

Ellis Turner and Colby Senn placed 8th in The GHSA State Championship against 111 boats. This qualified the boys for Nationals in late June on Cumberland Lake in Kentucky.

Tucker Bright and Jacob Byess are headed to Lake Seminole on June 12-13 for GA Bass Nation Championship.

Let’s split it again, weekend!!! Our Junior brung on Lake Lanier
Hunter and Lane Robinson placed 3rd with 14.33lbs with 5 fish limit
Huntley Taylor and Chase Ethridge place 11th with 10.00 with 4 fish
Carter Smith and Ely Evans placed 17th with 7.18 with 3 fish.
These boys gave it their all with all teams in the top 20 with GA Bass Nation.1

All Heard County Bass Anglers place in the top 20 with Ga bass Nation on Lake Lanier. County placing 3rd Robinson Brothers, 11th Huntley Taylor/Chase Ethridge, and 17th Carter Smith/Ely Evans.

The juniors really showed out at Lanier. Congrats to everyone. Updated AOY should be up by Monday at 8 pm.

Ellis Turner and Colby Senn held a top ten place with 9.4lbs at Major League Fishing High School Open but didn’t make the top 2 slots to qualify Colby for Nationals in Kentucky. On to the next qualifying SAF tournament on April 4 Gum Branch on Lake Hartwell.

Ethridge/Taylor weighed-in 4 fish with little over 9lbs placing them around 25th place.
Cook/Bright weighed-in having 1 fish. Very proud of all the teams for perseverance out on the water and the struggle against nature to compete.
