Congratulations to the Just For Kicks Team for all of their accomplishments at the PKC Internationals September 3-5 2021! It was a special weekend indeed! Reginald Venson won 1st in Forms, and captured Grand Champion in Weapons for his 15th Grand Championship Crown at the PKC Internationals, the most by any Champion in the history of this prestigious event! Michael Cooley was honored for his accomplishments and the leadership he has demonstrated beyond his years by being inducted into the PKC Elite. He is the youngest member in its history, and the third inductee from our dojo! Mr. Cooley also captured 1st Place in Weapons and Fighting. Marshawn White won Youth Grand Champion for Forms in one of the toughest under 18 groups we have seen! Go Team! We are The Martial Arts University!

We're back in Session. We're Excited!

People who wear clothing like ours...

For those of us whose favorite clothing are our Keiko-gi, we are thinking more and more about the pleasant times that our gatherings and atmosphere provides for us. Aside from the wonderful joy that we receive from interacting with our family (especially grandchildren), the wonderful feeling that those of us who wear this clothing is something that money can’t buy or COVID-19 medical situations can’t damper. If I made a list of the wonderful people I treasure and thought about early today, it could fill 100 pages.

After saying my prayers and thanking God for his continued Blessings this morning, I had one of my regular conversations with O’Sensei Trias, Hanshi Ridgely Abele, Hanshi Herb Johnson, and my Dad (The 1st Sensei Venson)

Perhaps, more people should wear Keiko-gi, If more people wore clothing like ours, and truly understood the meaning, the world would, most assuredly, be a better place. Please Stay well and spread happiness.
