A HUGE THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS
The fields have been weeded and dragged, the porta johns are here, the rolloff was put into place, the chalking machine arrived, the umpires are set, the food trucks are getting ready. Yep - it's time for a SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT!
29 teams are getting ready to compete this weekend, and we couldn't have done it without the help of many businesses and individuals. First off, we got some great help from our hometown with The Dolores State Bank and the Dolores Rotary Club sponsoring the big stuff. The Town of Dolores saw how much work we put in to prep the fields that all the local teams use after the tournament, and were gracious in waiving some of the rental fees. The Park guys and gals did a fantastic job of mowing and making the park look pretty. We'd also like to deeply thank Verde Auction Service and JRG Construction for their sponsorships to help pay for prizes and equipment. 5R Haul Off is helping us with a rolloff dumpster, KFR Graphics got us some last-minute banners, and the Ute Mountain Tribe came through with enough porta johns for us and the other side of Escalante Days at Flanders Park.
It takes a village to put this together, and we are so humbly grateful for our Village! Our intent is to use the proceeds to start up the Foundation this fall to help the disabled community get outdoors and active. Thanks to all who are helping make this a reality by supporting, volunteering, and competing this weekend!
