✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨KENNEDY PHILIPPS

Years in Dance - 10 years

Favorite Memory - I love pretty much every part of dance, but some of my favorite moments are those seconds right before it's your turn to go on stage. When the music from the class before dies down, and you take your position, when the adrenaline hits, and the lights reflect off your costume. It's thrilling - exhilarating!!

Favorite Dance Routine - I truly love so many of my dances that it's impossible to choose a favorite, so I'm just going to say “In The Mood” or “Swan Lake”. I'm sure if you asked me every day, it would be a different number each time.

Future Plans - In the fall, I plan on attending Madison Area Technical College (MATC) to begin the long process of becoming a respiratory therapist. At the same time, I will officially be teaching here at the dance studio, with my own classes of littles!! Through all of this, I'm going to continue working on my novel so someday it can be published and on my shelf next to my favorite authors. I'm so excited for this fresh new chapter!

Years in Dance - 15 years

Favorite Memory - My favorite memory is just making friends with everyone and laughing during all of our classes.

Favorite Dance Routine - My favorite dance is our hip hop dance this year.

Future Plans - My plans next year are to attend Edgewood University and major in Business.

Years in Dance - 12 years

Favorite Memory - My favorite dance memory is being in the green room last year and getting ready all together and having the chance to dance in boy/girl over the last few years.

Favorite Dance Routine - My favorite dance is clogging- “Cowboy Carter”.

Future Plans - I plan to attend UW-Madison. I’m pursuing a degree in Dairy and Food Animal Management in hopes of becoming a Dairy Nutritionist.

Years in Dance - 10 years

Favorite Memory - Playing cards in a tent before pictures, my 3rd year in dance.

Favorite Dance Routine - The boy-girl tango dance from 2024

Future Plans - Gabe will be attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where he plans on majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science with minors in German and Political Science.

Our dancers are putting the finishing touches on their routines and are ready to take the stage for ACT III, Studio V Dance's 3rd Annual Recital! We are so proud of all their hard work and can't wait to celebrate! 💜
