Salem decided to do "Happy Baby" pose while Scarlett was doing yoga. Salem turned 11 years old ten days ago, and he still plays like a kitten.

Please send healing energy and prayers to Maleficent Moon. She has been having a very challenging time the last few days and she is doing all she can to stay here a little longer with us. I know I was told she would only make it 1 month and maybe with a miracle, 3 months, but she has made it almost 10 months doing very well with her stage 4 kidney disease until this past week. She has been sitting in my lap and staying by me every minute of the day. This is extremely hard for me to handle bcs the bond I have with her is so very strong. She is unlike any other cat I have had, in the amazing ways that she shows her love. I was more than blessed when she came into our lives as a kitten back in 2018. I have been so lucky to have her as my kitty. ❤️

She's at 6 months now & still here to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. Our beautiful 7 year old Maleficent Moon has so much to be thankful for. We were told she had only 1 - 3 months to live based on her test results with Stage 4 kidney disease. She is now at the 6 month mark. I am so thankful I get to have her here still to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. She is getting a plate at the table with some cat-safe Thanksgiving food pieces tomorrow! We love you Maleficent Moon! Our studio cat, Maleficent, is already trying to watch for Trick-or-Treaters!

*Update on Maleficent. This picture was taken today. She is still doing a great job battling her stage 4 kidney disease.
She is at 6 months and we were originally told she would survive only 1 month to 3 months based on her lab result levels.
All of the love, prayers, and healing energy you have all been sending her, is a blessing to her.
We love our Maleficent Moon.

UPDATE on our studio cat, Maleficent Moon. She went for her checkup yesterday. We got the good news first, that her stage 4 kidney levels from her blood tests are even a little lower than the first day she was diagnosed, which is unusual for a cat that is at month 4 of being diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease. This got my hopes up and made me smile. Then we got the bad news. Her kidney disease is causing her to slowly become anemic and both of those has led to her developing a strong heart murmur.
Maleficent is only 7 years old.

She has been staying right by me a lot the last couple of days and has been sleeping more than usual. Please send her positive energies and prayers. I love her so deeply and she is trying so hard to stay here with us. She was given 1 month to 3 months when she was diagnosed, and we are at 4 months. She is a strong, spicy girl.

The vet had one of her cats live for 12 months with stage 4 kidney disease, so we keep sending out positive thoughts to her that she can do that too. Please send her lots of love.
