Diamond Athletics will be closed Sunday, September 6, and Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, September 8. We hope our Diamond families enjoy a safe and relaxing holiday weekend! 💙💎

A majority of our Prep 2 team represented their schools at Spirit Spreader yesterday in Dodge City! 📣💎

Coach K said her favorite part was watching them seek each other out to say hi! 🎉

Our teams are made up of athletes from several different schools and communities, but when they step onto the mat, they come together as one Diamond family. We are so proud to see them sharing their talent, school spirit, and love for cheer both inside and outside our gym! ❤️✨

FOOTBALL + CHEER = GAME DAY!

We’re excited to partner with Diamond Athletics to bring Youth Sideline Cheer to our YMCA Tackle Football games this season!

Open to Kindergarten–6th Grade, young athletes will get the chance to learn, build confidence, be part of a team, and bring the YMCA spirit to the sidelines! Cheerleaders will practice once a week on Tuesdays at Diamond Athletics and cheer at 2 home YMCA football games.

📅 Season: September 12–October 24
💲 $50 for the season
🎀 Includes a T-shirt, cheer bow & pom poms

Practices will begin Tuesday, September 15 at 6:00 PM at Diamond Athletics!

Our Youth Sideline Cheerleaders will cheer at two YMCA Tackle Football home games this season:

💙Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 AM — YMCA Tackle Football vs. Garden City 1
❤️Saturday, October 17 at 11:00 AM — YMCA Tackle Football vs. Garden City 2

Both games will be held at the Dodge City High School Turf Practice Field.

We love creating more opportunities for local youth to belong, grow and be part of something bigger. We can’t wait to see our football players on the field and our cheerleaders on the sidelines! 🏈📣

Our Prep 2 Dynasty athletes had Coach Brandon join them at practice yesterday to turn up the intensity with some conditioning and endurance work!

Coach Brandon will be joining us throughout the season to help our athletes build the strength, stamina, and endurance they need to keep pushing from the first count to the final pose. 💙

Not sure which tumbling class is right for your athlete? Fundamentals was created just for them! 🤸‍♀️

Our 6-week Fundamentals class is designed for athletes ages 6+ who are brand new to tumbling and want to build the skills and confidence they need before joining one of our regular tumbling classes.

Over six weeks, athletes will learn proper technique and work on strength, flexibility, body positions, rolls, handstands, bridges, cartwheels, round-offs, and other foundational skills that set them up for success as they progress.

At the end of the six weeks, we’ll help determine which of our tumbling classes is the best next step for your athlete! 💕💎

Tiny Cheer is the perfect introduction to cheer for little athletes who are ready to learn, move, make friends, and have FUN! We’ll work on the basics of cheer motions, jumps, tumbling, stunts, teamwork, and confidence in an encouraging, age-appropriate environment. 💕

LITTLE MOVERS!

Got a busy toddler who is always climbing, jumping, running, and exploring? Let them MOVE! 💕

Little Movers is our parent-assisted movement class designed especially for kiddos ages 1–3. Through obstacle courses, music, games, and age-appropriate gymnastics activities, we’ll work on balance, coordination, strength, body awareness, listening skills, and confidence — all while having FUN!

This class is the perfect next step after Wiggle Worms or a great first introduction to the gym. No experience needed — just bring your little mover and be ready to play! 🤸‍♀️
