Chad Sweitzer Claims Another Co-Angler Victory on the Columbia River

BOARDMAN, OR — On the co-angler side of the Vexus / Mercury PRO-AM on the Columbia River, Chad Sweitzer added another victory to his resume, once again getting the job done from the back of the boat.

After three days of competition, Sweitzer finished with an impressive 50.98 pounds to claim the co-angler title.
This marks Chad’s second co-angler victory of the season, following his win on Moses Lake in late May.

Sweitzer has continued to prove that success can come from anywhere in the boat, delivering another strong performance against a competitive field on one of the Northwest’s toughest fisheries.

Ty Manterola Takes Columbia River PRO AM Trophy
BOARDMAN, OR — Ty Manterola battled challenging conditions on the mighty Columbia River to capture the Vexus / Mercury PRO AM title, earning his first victory with BAM.
Manterola’s consistency throughout the three-day tournament proved to be the difference-maker, as he brought in three consecutive limits weighing more than 20 pounds each.
His daily weights were:
Day 1: 20.65 lbs
Day 2: 21.90 lbs
Day 3: 20.04 lbs
With a tournament total of 62.59 pounds, Manterola put together an impressive performance despite big waves and ever-changing river conditions.
The Columbia River threw everything it had at the field, but the waves had no chance of stopping Ty as he stayed consistent from start to finish and claimed the PRO AM trophy.
