My mom was pregnant with me at 19 and my dad was in and out of prison. At a young age she raised me as a single mom. The amount of sacrifices she must’ve had to make. She taught me to not feel sorry for myself or circumstance for too long. Dust your self off and get to work. I literally watched my mom work two jobs as she raised me. She got married to my dad Lionel and she remained steady even when I was hard head and defiant. She never talked bad about my dad, she just made things happened. I always wanted to be like my mom. She is beautiful, successful, and Always showed up for me and my brothers to games, practices, award ceremonies. She worked her ass off! So when people ask me where did I learn it from I simply say “my mama” She was my first role model. The one who showed me you can be a successful in your career, raise a family, and take care of yourself. Happy Mothers Day , you are the GOAT! I love you.
