BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Starting in January, Voodoo Sport Karate will become Rock River Sport Karate! We have passed the reins to Sensei TJ and Sensei Maggie. We are proud of how far they have come and look forward to watching them continue practicing and teaching Sport Karate to Dixon and the surrounding areas.

Sensei TJ and Sensei Maggie along with their son, Cameron, will continue teaching our current program, starting in January. Please head over to Rock River Sport Karate and give them a follow to stay updated with everything that is happening.

We appreciate all the support over the years and hope you will continue supporting them as well.

It's not too late to join our fall session!

After having some issues getting started at the YMCA, black belt testing, and attending the Cowboy Up tournament in TX, we are excited to be back this week!

Remember, we have switched to the MyStudio app. If you are experiencing any issues on the app, please come to class and we will help you out.

THE SAUK VALLEY SHOWDOWN!!!

Our in-house tournament is open to all martial arts competitors.

Competition will begin at 9:30 on Saturday, June 14th at Voodoo Sport Karate. If you haven't joined us before, we are located at 500 Anchor Rd in Dixon, Il.

We have divisions for everyone! CMX forms and weapons, traditional forms and weapons, double elimination point sparring, and padded sword sparring. Also, for any brave parents out there, we offer a fun child vs parent padded sword division.

$40 for your 1st division and $10 for each additional division. $5 spectator fee.

We love to see our students succeed on and off the mat. Adrian and Mark won the Hard Worker Award for their respective classes this year.

Watching all the work our kids do in the dojo, it comes as no surprise to see them getting recognized in the classroom as well.

This is our summer in-house tournament and is open to all martial arts competitors.

The tournament is on June 14th. Your 1st event is $40 and each additional event is $10.

Great work by Team Voodoo this weekend. Mr. McKee and Cameron went competed at the Platinum Open on Saturday. They both medaled in all of their events and won a combined 4 1st place medals.

Sunday, Cameron, Aden, and Mark competed at the Naperville Challenge. They all brought home 1 or more trophies and Cameron won the Jr. Underbelt Grand Champion. Congratulations to you all for competing and representing Voodoo Sport Karate so well.

100 sit-ups ✔️
A ridiculous amount of technique combinations designed to test endurance as well as mental focus ✔️

Our black belt candidates earned their 2nd stripe on their brown belts this afternoon. One more stripe to earn followed by their black belt test this fall.

Thanks to all the competitors, parents, judges and score keepers at the Rumble on the Rock!!!

This may have been one of our smaller tournaments, but the competition was fierce.

We truly appreciate all the support and hope that everyone had fun and made a new friend or two.

RUMBLE ON THE ROCK is now only 2 days away!!!

Doors will open at 8 and competition will begin at 9:30. If you can sign up prior to arrival, it helps us plan and keep things running as smooth as possible. If you can't, that's OK. We will be able to help you get signed up at the door.

Attached is a map of the parking area and entrance for those that haven't been to our dojo before.

There will be water and some small snacks available for purchase but no concessions so please plan accordingly.
