We had an action packed day at Ricky Craven's Speedway Presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. After the debacle from our last race, we will take a 4th place finish and go back to work on the car and come back faster in two weeks. If you haven't been up to see all the changes and improvements to the track, make a plan to come see what Ricky has done with the place.

Not the finish we were hoping for, but much better than the debacle...

I was hoping not to have a “Not the day we were hoping for” post this early in the season. Jack was fastest in practice and with the invert started the race in third. By lap two he was in second place and by lap six he passed for the lead and was pulling away. On lap 12 he caught a lap car that changed lanes as he was bing passed. Jack made contact with him and then spun hard into the wall. The car had a flat and the tow was knocked in over an inch. Jack got back out on to the track and managed to salvage a sixth place finish completing all sixty laps with a very ill handling race car. Our next race is June 27 at Speedway Presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. I want to thank everyone who came to help us get the car back out on the track and all the other competitors for putting on a great race. See you in two weeks.

Mother nature did not cooperate with us today. Despite every effort by the track, the rain kept coming. The stands and the pits were packed including some very heavy hitters from across the state. As of now the track will be holding a $6000 to win 100 lap prostock makeup race next Saturday the 13th. Come join us next week for an action pack day of exciting racing. See you there!

The countdown to Green is on!

The shop has been wide open all winter. Between a demanding fuel and service season and race prep in full swing, it’s been nonstop — but our Super Street program is coming together strong and we’re ready for 2026.

We’re excited to announce that we’re returning home to the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Speedway in Hermon Maine. With the improvements at the track, renewed energy under new leadership, and not to mention the momentum building around the upcoming season, we’re confident this will be one of the most competitive and exciting venues local racing has seen in decades.

To our marketing partners — thank you. Your continued support allows us to compete at a high level and represent your businesses with pride and professionalism. Our goal is simple: chase wins, battle for a championship, and put our partners front and center in Victory Lane with Jack “The Rabbit” McKee behind the wheel.
