This Labor Day Weekend, I will be playing in the Hockey Helps 24 hr. Marathon which raises money for local Charites. I will be skating and participating in helping raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. Every dollar donated will be doubled and go directly to support those living with Alzheimer’s & Dementia. Simple Body Contact Fundamentals!

A favorite warm up drill when teaching checking and body contact. Simple yet effective, this drill emphasizes heads up hockey and athletes driving through their lower body when giving hits! This allows them to be more powerful, stable, and keeps their own body (head specifically) protected.

The Best Feedback we can receive!

This email we received following our 2026 Futures Development Camp last week is the best feedback we could receive and why we coach! From the parent of a current Peewee Hockey player, this is the transformational leadership we expect from our coaches and the impact we hope to have at our camps.

A big theme all week at camp was Controlling You’re A.P.E (Attitude, Preparation, and Effort). We emphasized that controlling those three things will lead to better development in anything you do and yield the results you desire.

Our athlete here shows a strong focus on preparing to have a great day and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you for the feedback and for another successful week of Detailed Athletic Development Camp!

Limited Spots Left in our Checking + Body Contact Camp next week!

For advanced travel hockey players, our camps will provide athletes the opportunity to be coached by current DI, DIII, and ACHA college coaches.
Through video instruction, on-ice drills and situations, and off-ice conditioning, players will walk away with a newfound understanding of the game and what it takes to have success at the next level.
