Trans people have always existed and always will. Don’t let anyone try to convince you otherwise
I love being trans, I love all of my trans friends, I am so grateful to be part of a community that is so brave, so creative, so thoughtful
I think about the first trans people I knew, and how their visibility helped me eventually be confident enough to pursue my true self. I’m forever grateful for the risks they took to make themselves visible, and the difference they made in my life and many others.
It’s rough out here right now but I wouldn’t want to live any other way. I’m proud to be who I am. We will resist and we will continue to exist no matter how much the US government tries to legislate us out of existence
If you’re cis, consider reaching out to trans people you care about. It’s a great time to remind trans people that you care about us, and are willing to help especially as the political climate continues to get worse
