NOTICE: There was a news story published by WSMV4 that has caused some undue concern in relation to drinking water in Dickson County. The story references a TDEC report noting several counties, including Dickson, that have been “impacted” by the severe weather conditions. Certainly all utilities in Tennessee have been impacted by the weather conditions, and WADC staff have been working tirelessly to maintain the drinking water supply. It is important to note that the TDEC report states, “Currently all water systems have water supply, but residents should follow any guidance issued by their water provider.” WADC currently has no issues with water quality and no restrictions in place.
