We’ve been proud North Dakota High School Rodeo Association buckle sponsors for over a decade now. One of our core philosophies is to make sure we give back, either financially or through giving our time, to organizations and groups that were pivotal in our growth and life experiences.

High school rodeo is one of those organizations. Our paths are vastly different — Broden was a three event competitor (tie down roping, team roping, and steer wrestling), a student officer, a 3x National HS Finals Qualifier in all three events, and it was through high school rodeo that he was recruited on a full scholarship to rodeo at Dickinson State University. Melissa had access to high school rodeo only through the Cutting. She’d arrive in the early morning hours, cut, and usually leave before the rodeo officially started.

Regardless of the paths, high school rodeo was instrumental in shaping us as adults, and providing us with opportunities and long lasting friendships.

We wish good luck to all the finals contestants, and remind you all that even if State doesn’t go the way you planned, the lessons you learn are invaluable.
