Reminder that tonight is the DYB End of Year Party & Elections at the Carthage Y at 5:30. Food and fun for all the kiddos and elections for next year’s board. There are 3 of the 4 positions open so please think about nominating yourself for one of those opening. See everyone tonight!

Congrats to the DYB 6G and 4B basketball teams today at the league championships! 6G got the win, 29-20, to bring home 1st place. 4B lost a close one 13-17 to finish in 2nd place. Great job to both teams today!
Look for more info on the end of the year meeting and party very soon!

This Saturday is our Spring River League Championship tournament. Diamond has two teams in the championships!
6G plays at 9AM
4B plays at 2 PM
All games are at Liberal High School and cost is $3 per person 16 and older.

Parents, a reminder that tonight is the Girls Youth Recognition Night at the High School girls basketball game. Please be there by 6:15 or earlier and have your girl in her jersey to go out on the court between games.

Girls Youth Night is this coming Tuesday night in between the JV and Varsity games vs Seneca. Be at the game by 6:15 at the latest, the JV game starts at 6:00 and they'll only play 2 quarters. Wear jerseys and coaches shirts to go out on the court.

Tomorrow is Game Day! Looking forward to seeing everyone at New Heights (3rd-6th league) or Diamond (K-2 league).
One note for all leagues, parents be respectful of the refs and other teams. Refrain from yelling about bad or missed calls and set a good example for our youth!

The 3rd-6th grade Spring River league is very close to finalizing the league schedule. What we have confirmed so far is games will start on 1/3 and run through 2/7 then the league tournaments will be on 2/14 with the championships on 2/21. All locations are TBD still but as soon as we finalize I will send out. The games will start at 9 AM with 6G followed by 6B and go each grade younger throughout the day.
The K-2 league will start on 1/3 and run for four Saturday’s in January. We are currently at 8 teams with a few more that will decide this week. I will make the schedule as soon as the Spring River league schedule is finalized and we have the confirmed teams.

The head coaches have received each grades roster for the 2025-2026 season and they’ll be reaching out to the parent on the sign-up form soon. Practices start the week of 12/1 and here is each team’s scheduled practice time/gym.
We have 96 kiddos signed up so it’s gonna be a busy, exciting year! 😁 We did our best to get 26 siblings to practice on the same evening but we couldnt make it work for everyone.
We’ll need jersey sizes and #’s finalized the first week of practice so make sure your kiddo is at those first practices.
