Four Winds Adventure

Four Winds Adventure Offers private Hot Air Balloon flights over the central MI area nearly every day, winds permitting. The flight can last as long as possible!

Captain Doug Schmidt has been a certified commercial and private pilot since 1982. Flights go up just before sunrise or 3-4 hours before sunset. The wind predicts and controls our safety but a ride will typically last between 1 hour and 1.5 hours. Unfortunately much like the weather there are no guarantees but we will stay up as long as possible for each and every flight. The entire event with set

-up, flight and packing it up lasts approximately 2-4 hours depending on how hands on you want to be!! And of course at the end there is some bubbly served and a ceremonial toast and a certificate of achievement for the experience of a lifetime!!

Surprisingly as beautiful as it was this morning it was too windy fly. When asked, Doug responded "do u want to end up in the UP?!"
The conditions for the evening did improve....so nice!

It's a beautiful ride in the winter and now that the holidays are over its back to business! Whew! 1 hour of serenity sounds good right now.
