I had no idea what I wanted to do. I was never one of those lucky ones who woke up when she was seven years old thinking, I’m positive I want to be a doctor! and then never lost that passion all the way through gradation from med school.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If that’s your story, more power to you, sis. But it’s not mine. I’m the definition of a girl who is learning as she goes, figuring out how to trust that God has a plan, all while having wacky unfigured-out dreams in my head.

I didn’t wake up one day with everything figured out. I didn’t just happen upon my purpose. I fumbled into projects I found interesting, and slowly over time—as I battled my struggle with “impostor syndrome” and the unnecessary pressure to figure out my dreams—I learned something powerful and humbling.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maybe a meaningful life is not at all about figuring it out but rather just being willing to get outside our comfort zones.

Had one of the best weekends.

We all crave to get away and to spend time with people we love.

We did just that, we got away unplugged and now we are ready to bounce back.

“Whatever you aren’t changing, you’re choosing.”

Making changes isn’t easy. That’s why so many people stay the same! We get stuck in our comfort zones, even if that zone isn’t a healthy place for us!

You can either make the choice to stay where you are or you can CHOOSE to make a change 👏👏👏

You have to find your WHY. Why do you want to make the change? Then hold on to that reason as tight as you can and use it as motivation to power through!

This quote helps me start each day with the right mindset. I have to make a CHOICE each day to be better than I was yesterday - even on the days when I want to stay in bed 😴

This girl brings so much joy and love to our lives. She loves getting up on Sundays and going to Sunday School.

She won’t leave the house without her bible in hand.

The sweetest thing, she opens her bible up and will say “momma, there’s baby Jesus and His momma and dada.

Looking into the future, like dang it’s bright!!

I can’t help but smile when I think about the future. When I started my journey I was unsatisfied, unhealthy and unimpressed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have always been active and so when I hit a road block where being active was hard it was life changing. I love running, it’s a huge stress relief for me and I can say 4 years ago I could barely run a quarter of a mile.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Back and forth with trying to get in shape and workout was just not working. I am soo glad I decided to choose ME 4 months ago. I have not looked back and I keep smiling pretty big when I look into the future!
