Full Strap & Stringer Hunting and Fishing Guide Service providing the ultimate outdoor experience. Our hunts are on Historic Catahoula Lake and also private agriculture fields.

My family has been hunting and fishing this area since the early 70's and operating an outfitting business for many of those years. Our Group specializes in custom fitting a package that allows our clients to maximize their outdoor experience. Mixed bags of puddle ducks and divers and are the norm. The largest group of canvasbacks in the Mississippi flyway call Catahoula Lake home for the winter.

We offer both morning and afternoon hunts. Duck hunt in the morning and book an afternoon bass or crappie fishing trip, goose, or hog hunt. We also offer Air Boat sight seeing trips in the off season on local lakes and tributaries. All of our equipment is purchased on a two-year program in order to ensure our clients comfort and safety. Dog work is a large part of waterfowling and each of our guides will provide your group with a Champion Retriever to enhance your experience on the lake. The weather right now is cooking us! At least it will soon be time for US to do the cooking. If you have been with us before, you know going hungry isn’t something you have to worry about around camp! There’s nothing like coming in from a hunt to a fresh bowl of homemade chili or red beans and rice. Then for dinner you can look forward to some homemade chicken and sausage gumbo or a big helping of shrimp étouffée. There are 3 birds on the top of almost everyone’s list when they come to hunt with us and it’s Mallards, Pintails and Canvasbacks. All three are a trophy for any one. Not every day is perfect for all of them, but thanks to Louisiana weather the opportunity for each changes daily. We offer day hunts, however taking the opportunity to hunt multiple days increases your opportunity to get the trophy bird you’ve been after.
