Your Optic May Not Be the Problem

If your r***e was holding zero and suddenly starts throwing rounds around the target, check the simple stuff before blaming the optic.

Make sure the optic mount and mounting screws are secure and inspect everything for movement or damage. A loose mount can make a good r***e look like it has a serious accuracy problem.

🎯 Quick Tip: After checking your equipment, reconfirm your zero with the same am******on you normally shoot.

🚨 CODE BLUE FI****MS — NFA / FORM 4 UPDATE 🚨

We’ve received several questions concerning the recent federal court ruling involving suppressors and reports that suppressors can now be purchased without an ATF Form 4.

Yes, the ruling is real.

On August 13, 2026, the court’s injunction in Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF went into effect, and the first reported suppressor transfers covered by that ruling were completed without a Form 4 or NFA registration.

However, there is an important distinction that is getting lost on social media:

This is NOT currently a nationwide ruling allowing every FFL/SOT to transfer every suppressor without a Form 4.

The court’s injunction applies to the plaintiffs and certain covered members and customers, including qualifying Silencer Shop customers. There are still important questions concerning how the ruling applies to independent dealers and customers outside those protected groups.

So what does this mean for Code Blue Fi****ms customers?

For now, Code Blue Fi****ms will continue processing our suppressor transfers through the normal ATF Form 4 process.

We will not risk a customer’s suppressor, our Federal Fi****ms License, or our customers’ legal standing based on a Facebook post or an interpretation of a court ruling.

We are actively following the case and watching for official ATF guidance and further developments.

If and when the law clearly allows Code Blue Fi****ms to transfer suppressors without a Form 4, we’ll be ready—and our customers will be among the first to know.

This is a major development for suppressor owners and the fi****ms industry, and we’re excited to see where it goes. We simply believe in doing it the right way and the legal way.

AR-15 Twist Rate vs. Bullet Weight

If your AR isn’t grouping well, your ammo may be the issue.

• 1:9 Twist — Great for 55-grain and lighter; usually handles 62-grain well.
• 1:8 Twist — Great all-around choice for 55, 62, 69, 75, and many 77-grain loads.
• 1:7 Twist — Shoots 55-grain, but often shines with heavier 62–77+ grain bullets.

🎯 If your 1:7 r***e is scattering 55-grain ammo, try a quality heavier load before blaming the r***e.
